  1. I think Povich leaves, 60% chance Wynne comes back, and 50/50 on Hallmark.
  2. Now in the 6th and Christo and Mason still on the board. Christo is almost a lock to be in Lincoln next year. If Mason still on the board after the 8th, I'd have to think he will be in Lincoln as well.
  3. Exactly. The Twins pick him there because they know he will sign and that they (likely)get him to sign below what the spot is worth (and use left over money in higher slots).
  4. Povich to the Twins at 98! Good for him!
  5. Almost through the Competitive Balance B (compensatory after 2nd Round) and Christo has not been taken. Signing bonuses about to drop below $1 million are a good thing for those of us rooting for Christo to come to play college ball.
  6. Losing to Illinois and Michigan State but beating Iowa... Not sure how that happens.
  7. I'd say not likely. I'm sure they have people in mind on a short list - but how would Green justify paying a search firm when he already had the hire in place? Especially with the budget cuts due to COVID.
  8. I heard he would only order Pizza Hut for office pizza parties over Valentino's.
  9. I'd say Ohio State was fairly threatened in the first half of the game last year.
  10. Family friends (all walk-ons) on the team have also said this is the most talent and competition there has been in the last 3-4 years (since they've been there), and it is not even close. Take it for what its worth.
  11. John Cook and Ed Stewart are at the top of the list. If Hank Bounds is interested it might be a 3 horse race, IMO.
  12. Nebraska was actually in early on two guys (Kanak and Samson) which we were leading for and will/may lose out to elite programs (Clemson/Bama and Ohio State).
  13. I understand what you are saying; however, this is an odd year in the ratings with lack of camps last year and this spring. I think a couple of the current commits will get ratings bumps and the most likely to get to 4* are: Page, Jones, Hausman, and Torres.
  14. The longevity of that company would be in serious question... but I get what you are saying. Boosters and their companies will likely reallocate resources and Nebraska companies and boosters are ripe for making that investment in student-athletes. Come be a big fish in a small pond.
  15. I think I saw something where Michigan's coach is at the top and around $850K.
  16. I think Shanaman will stay as the Sunday starter with Perry on Friday and Christo on Saturday. As mentioned it would be awesome to go Povich, Perry, Christo with Shanaman and Olson as the midweek starters.
  17. Yes- Spread the message. Time to return the favor to Arky fans in Omaha. The way husker fans and team were treated was comparable to trips I made to Boulder in the ‘90s.
  18. Good info! Have to think everyone but Schwellenbach, Hroch, Shanaman and Perry are available tonight. In an ideal world I think if we get to the 7th with a lead in the 7, 8, and 9 we give the ball to Wynne and then Bunz to close it out.
  19. Bolt was quoted as saying Max Anderson was available to pitch hit last night... I wonder if he will be available to DH tonight? Would be a big addition (or re-addition) to the lineup.
  20. I’d think possibly Povich as his pitch count was not high on Friday with Frank or Schreiber 1st out of the pen.
  21. Bringing in Schwelly in the 5th was a ballsy and brilliant move by Bolt!
  22. 19 points or about 3 tds seems right. OU will be really good but they lose a bunch of pieces on the offensive and defensive lines.
  23. Why not keep the conference championship and just got to an 8 team playoff, with 5 conference champions auto and 3 at large? Then the committee ranks 1-8 and sets playoff bracket.
  24. Just saw that reported as well. Looks like this one is gone. I'm guessing either Clemson or Bama.
