    All this talk about fixing social security, medicare, and medicaid. Here's an idea: get rid of social security and pay out the rest until it's gone. Then we don't have to worry about it any more.

      Social Security needs to be fixed, not killed, and it's easy to fix it. Just raising the lid so that Social Security taxes continue to be paid on incomes over $90,000 would go a long ways, and it would be more fair. It's unbelievable how the heavier tax burden has been shifted onto the middle and lower classes over the past 30 years.
