  1. Makes it worse it has been known for years option 1 and 2 are the TEs in Iowa pass plays
  2. I’m shocked Sanford is even playing. That shot against Allen last week I thought would be a year ending concussion protocal
  3. Guy has one foot inbounds and the other is four inches out of bounds and it wasn’t 30 seconds after a whistle.
  4. That 3rd down play was exactly what I mention earlier about Iowa’s slot coverage and the overly handsiness. Fidone was mugged trying to run his route
  5. Ok that was the time for a Sanico Panico return
  6. Nice contain by Hill. Slowed what could have a huge play
  7. A turnover will decide this game for either team
  8. Their punter will be the player of the game
  9. My favorite part of the Ruhle to Aggie Land is the fact that they just canned a guy who has a Natty on his resume and they are seriously considering a guy that has what, maybe a pair of top 20 victories on hi
  10. If I'm Ruhle, pregame I am meeting with the back, side, field, line and down judges to reiterate the amount of hand contact/holding that Iowa's back 7 uses. Especially their defenders that are in slot coverage and defenders covering TEs. They have played like this for years leading to solid pass defense numbers. If you are allowed to play like that(which they have) bravo, and keep doing it. However a couple of calls and that gets to be a thing defenders start thinking about.
  11. Playing at home, tied, where a FG may win it, with a QB just thrown into the game vs playing on the road trailing, with a QB that took all the practice reps and was game planned for, with 3 time outs. I'm sorry you lack certain senses to see the HUGE differences in the two situations. And, sorry not an arm chair QB, played and then coached college ball.
  12. No the situations aren't really close at all
  13. Who the f#&% on Iowa has scared a DC the last five years????? Talent has been brought in. Coaching has failed in many facets in regards to development on offense. And an OC putting said poorly coached up kids in crap situations is not helping a thing. NU is a s#!tshow. Something we've known for years, this year the defense has just played above its talent, albeit against crap offenses for the most part, giving fans a glimpse of happiness/hope
  14. Whatever it was. The guy still has a proven track record of crap offenses(even with a legit QB), crap situational awareness in play calling, and constantly fails to put his unit in the best position to be successful. Yes the line sucks, but it has shown to be far more stout running vs pass pro. So why continue to play into the "bad cards" of facing 3rd and longs against defenses that are licking their chops knowing you are going to try throwing with, as we as fans have cited, crap Qbs, crap OLine, young/crap WRs????? Coaches are paid to put their kids in the best position to be successful. Satt has continued to fail in that regard.
  15. No not really. I am not a fan of his but I also have to remember Satt was not the original choice for OC/Qb coach.. That was Peetz and Satt was to be the WR coach
  16. Well with the amount of young kids they are playing on defense, I'd say it would be a step back, but not as severe as you may think
  17. Scott getting buried three yards in the backfield was probably a little more problematic on that play
  18. I'd also say the first series after the three and out by the defense coming out of halftime.
  19. There is actually a huge difference in the situations though. Last week you are playing at home and tied. Today trailing on the road. Entirely different cases. And most coaches at all levels will echo play for the win on the road, overtime at home.
  20. Damn right. Cover the spread. Give some fans solace that there is winning in losing
  21. It's a trophey with a witches hat on it. Who the hell would want that stupid thing anyways.
