That stuff isn't going away, no matter what anyone does.
Yep, LinkedIn for football.

Dylan won’t get hurt, he can actually throw the quick outs. But, if some freak situation happens, I think Zach Wilson may still have some eligibility remaining.
Who is Zach Wilson? I think you meant Russell Taylor.

If they only have 4 qb's on the roster and three are scholarships and one is a walk on hopefully it doesn't come to that. I only asked bc recent Nebraska starting qb's have gotten hurt throughout the years and we have had to go to back ups.
I get your point. If we had 8 QBs and they were hurt, I’d sure like to believe that 9th guy could win games for us. It’s just a good plan.

I did not realize he was freshman last year. I hope he comes Nebraska
I watched him in a few games late in the season. I think he could turn into a big contributor eventually.

Anthony Grant (#53 RB) - 4.71 40 with a 26" vert and an 8'11" broad - not exactly explosive.
These are terrible numbers. Not trying to be d!(k, but I doubt Rhule even recruits a kid with numbers like this.

I went to KState. They have done a nice job with all the updates they've done there. I was just saying the location sucks. JMO. The point being though, Memorial needs to be where it is. I agree though about what Trev was trying to do.
I agree. The location of memorial stadium is ideal. The place needs work.

He had knee surgery for "clean-up" right before Christmas and missed a couple of weeks. You could tell the last couple weeks of the season it was affecting him as he looked like he was laboring when he went up and down the court.
Mast was non existent the last 4 weeks of the season. Something was wrong. He's a good player.

A better pass would have let the receiver score instead of leading him out of bounds.
/s
A better fan would have realized it’s an improvement instead of a guy going out of bounds.

Being a Rockies fan (you heard that right) and seeing what Coors did for downtown is impressive. KC's downtown, at least when I lived close, was an afterthought. I think a plan like this can go a long way in making it a place to live, work, play, etc. The KC sports complex, in my eyes, is awful. There's nothing around it, yeah, sure, maybe the tailgating is good but whatever. The renderings were awesome. I much prefer a downtown setting.
Which is why you can NEVER move Memorial, unless it's a block over. All these people wanting a dome halfway between Omaha and Lincoln don't get it. Go to a game at KSU then Lincoln. Totally different experience and one is way better! I only get back to one game a year but I absolutely LOVE the experience of staying downtown and walking through campus to the game. If they ever moved it away from that area I honestly don't know if I'd bother, probably just watch on the flat screen.
KSU isn’t bad. And their stadium is way better.
Went twice last year. Enjoyed it.
Edit: Getting laughs. Unlikely anyone has been there in a while. It's far different than what I remember when Taylor Martinez (2010) ran wild. They have a concourse that has tons of room. You don't feel like cattle. You can watch the game standing comfortably from multiple locations. You don't have to choose between a hot dog, valentinos or runza because they have options. The bathrooms were not like I was behind a barn at the Saline County fair. And we walked from campus which took 5-10 minutes. The stadium was surrounded by tailgating.
It was the most enjoyable experience for watching a game I've had in a while. It actually made me a supporter of what Trev was trying to do. Memorial Stadium is a dinosaur. I think they've done a phenomenal job of trying to lipstick the pig, but it's time for a Chip & Joanna job.

I kind of gave up on Fred. I’m glad he didn’t give up. He still doesn’t have rock star ballers. I hope he can snag a few.

Help me out....
Is this where we start insisting there's something wrong with the culture if so many guys are leaving???
This one surprises me as well. He got hot a few times this year, but was inconsistent. Was decent coming off the bench. KT is gone and now it’s time to step up.
Something is off for me.

He really needs to read Huskerboard. If he’s serious about winning he needs to understand we have to ditch adidas and change the music that plays in the stadium.

I'm working on my thoughts on the players that could/should come back next year like the last two years.
Hopefully I've got something later this week.
Are you going to start a new thread when you have your thoughts or will it go in this one?

Damn. Was hoping he would stick around. In limited minutes, he seemed like someone that could be a main rotation guy next year.
He made some plays, but in general I thought he looked like he was in slow motion. Not the effortless way, the I’m slow way.

Pretty lucky to be down by only 14. Need to play some D second half. This is doable.

Ended up being a pretty good early season test (and win)
They are good. The refs hosed them in Lincoln. Nebraska was lucky to come away with the W that day.

They don't, but someone has to throw the ball for the WRs. A lot of times it's alumni or the current QB, we just don't really have any of those. Martinez coming back would be a bit odd, Thompson is somewhere else, and the guys working out in front of scouts would have been wise to politely decline Haarberg throwing to them.
Zac Taylor is off right now. Frost is probably still on the payroll.

Reduced revenue from the state because Pillen didn't get his way? If that's what is being said.....Nebraskans really need to think about who they vote for in that office.
You realize this happens in just about everything right?
