  1. Everyone should experience a MRI at some point in their life. I've been lucky enough to experience two..................frigging hate it!

  2. Paul Myerberg ‏@PaulMyerberg 29m29 minutes ago The new Nebraska coaches and support staff seem to have embraced the recruiting stuff just a *little bit* more than their predecessors.

You can also make the "Riley is able to pick and choose" argument, but really I don't think you can make that argument with a straight face...any coach thrust into a new job is going to be scrambling for whatever he can get. Riley has had to spend significant time just holding onto a few existing commits

If Bo had taken only 20 that year, his class would probably be down near 40-45. If Riley needed to get 29 kids, his ranking would probably be pushed into the top 20, just based on what he's done so far. But that's largely conjecture

Right, but when you take a large class, if your ratio of 4* to 3* stays the same, it weights it towards the high side. By the way it's measured, if two classes have the same AVERAGE of talent but one is 30 kids and the other is just the 20, the one with 30 will be rated much higher. That's why.

That 2008 class was only a top-30 class because of volume. We took like 29 kids that year. Riley is going to have a top-30 class with a size of only 20.

  7. Agreed tho - banning someone and not telling them why is childish. The "I don't like you so you can't post here" approach is not okay.

We aren't publicly going to get a reason because that reason would be a massive detriment to the board itself

Now if he keeps having back problems to the point where he simply cannot put four days together then he truly may have to retire and be "done." But he's not at that point yet

I think most reasonable people don't think that 2000-01 Tiger and '05-06 Tiger is a possibility ever again, by him or maybe even by anyone else

"It's over" yet he's still probably like the 20th best player in the world, lol. Hell, a year and a half ago he was coming off a 5-win season and was ranked #1. Clearly a hack.

he is what he is, a volume scorer that creates little other offense. sometimes it propels the team to victory, other times it's a waste of floor space, but overall we need him

  13. Theres no reason for D1 college bball programs to not be able to shoot better. Where the hell is the art of jump shooting?? My town team could score all night on many college teams. Shooting 12-15 ft jumpers at 75%.

Your town team would get beat 149 to 7 by either of these two teams

the two best ways to score and to attack the rim (proximity + opponent foul equity) and the three-point shot (worth more points, space the floor). Anything else is just settling for a mediocre attempt

mid-range jump shots are literally the most inefficient way to score. lol @ the lost art of the 15-foot jumper.

  19. Officials from the College Football Playoff are standing firm behind their original dates for future semifinals and national championship games in spite of a report that officials from ESPN and the NFL would like to see the dates changed. The Sports Business Journal reported that ESPN executives have lobbied to move next season's semifinals from New Year's Eve, when they could suffer a drop in ratings, to Jan. 2, 2016.

you have to weigh the cons of the vaccine having some harmful additive of which there is zero evidence to support vs. the pro of your child not dying of measles mumps polio diptheria rubella or tetanus. IDK, seems like a hard decision
