There are one heck of a lot of very good QBs that aren't well liked by their team. That includes some of our most prized alumni. +1000 Frazier says Hello. Championships cure everything. While this is true, there was a significant difference between Armstrong and Frazier. Frazier got into the grill of anyone who he deemed slacking. I don't recall TA really doing this. Frazier made everyone around him play better. He may have been hated, but he was well respected by his teammates. I'm not sure TA fit the same mold. The significant difference was a championship and the surrounding cast. Frazier 49% career passer - Armstrong 53% career passing Frazier 1955 career rushing - Armstrong 1819 career rushing Win and be a jerk, non issue. Lose and it is the first thing pointed at. There are plenty of instances of TA yelling at people. Frazier is an icon and absolutely should be at Nebraska.

Why would his offer be uncommittable?It almost assuredly is not. Apparently not high enough on our board.Doesn't make any sense. Why would we offer him during his sophomore year of high school if it isn't going to be committable? You would think we would take a little more 'wait and see' approach if we're not totally sure of the kids talent and projection, especially for a sophomore. You would think. Friendly reminder ALL offers are "reported" offers until the school accepts a NLI. If this is the crux of your argument, remember than no one other than Garrison himself can comment on whether or not the coaches extended one. Actually offers are only real on August 1st of their senior year. All offers are verbal offers until that date when they actually get it in writing. With the change in recruiting rules, that might move up the date of written offers as well.

Depending how he fills the class out, the talent level might be higher next year, actually.And the results........... 0-0

It's not a right to go to the games. If you do go, you follow the rules of the venue. That's pretty much it.

I'm starting to get the feeling that Copeland = Tanner Lee. Well ... Miles is in need of a QB.... Starting to hear some chatter that Copeland might test the NBA waters... If i know one thing, it's that the NBA takes players recovering from back surgery every year. He can test all he wants, but he will be at Nebraska next year.

I wouldn't count out Hoiberg returning to college. Especially the way his star players treated him in Chicago. It's hardly a team of stars. Jimmy Butler yes, but the surrounding cast is an aging D-Wade, locker room cancer Rajon Rondo, and perennial all stars Nikola Mirotic (sp?) and Robin Lopez. The issue in Chicago is the front office, lots of unrest over how Gar Forman is managing the team. It's a bold strategy aimed at getting a high pick, problem is they're 30-29. Hoiberg's teams rely on spacing and shooters, nothing that Nebraska currently has. So in comes forced attrition and transfers. Attrition and transfers has been a way of life for Miles. So it's nothing new And a round and round we go, never establishing a solid program. This is the first time in his tenure that he has a base of 4 solid freshman and 3 solid sophomores...not counting transfers. I say let it shake out and see if they get better. If the freshman leave this summer, it's officially a hot seat. 4 freshman? 3 freshman, 4 sophomores, 3 transfers & another incoming highly rated HS player. Problem is miles doesn't know how to coach em up. Tai Webster Webster disagrees. Either way it'll work itself out.

Hoiberg is not coming to Nebraska. He left his alma mater with 5 starters returning after a run in the NCAA tourney to go to the NBA. He's not coming back to college ball to cater/supervise 17-23 year old kids. Nebraska has been a doormat for many years in basketball, lets give a guy with a team full of freshman and sophomores a fighting chance. Or we could fire him and 3-4 key players transfer leaving us with nothing and starting over....again. Then in 5 years fire the new guy because he didn't win fast enough and keep this cycle rolling. Let's put the video game down and ride this one out for a couple years.
