  1. Having a pre-game party this weekend and looking to make some Husker Punch but haven't had it since college. Looking for a good recipe. Any suggestions? Buying a 10 gallon water cooler
  2. I really hope that Bo stays a LONG time and Ohio State doesn't call his number when Mr. Sweater Vest leaves
  3. I agree with you there. Bo is getting the players he wants for his scheme. However, does strength of schedule effect our way of thinking. Will we be happy with a 11-3, 10-4 season with one of the toughest schedules in the country?
  4. I was at the Holiday Bowl. The emotion on the sideline, the feeling from the husker fans (or lack there of), and just the feel of the stadium....UW was pumped for that game and Nebraska just flat out didn't want to be there. I'm not defending NU or coming up with excuses. UW came to play and NU didn't.
  5. I do remember. But I also remember going 5-7 and having the WORST defenses in our programs history. I remember 76 to kansas. I remember 70-10 against Tech. 41-6 @ Missouri and 65-51 @ colorado. So living through those days 4-5 years ago, 10-4 seems pretty good right about now
  6. I know we didn't do great in the "big" games this year, and I have been guilty of the finger pointing sometimes. But sometimes I think back to 4-5 years ago when a 10 win season seemed impossible. I give credit to Bo and his staff for taking these players and turning them into a competitive group. He was, and still is, the right person for the job. I find it amazing how Martinez goes from being in the "heisman" talk to being thrown under the buss. I think being starting quarterback at Nebraska is the hardest thing a person can do. I even remember back in the day when the fans were booing
  7. I know a bunch of people are concerning about our offense, as they should be (as am I). But did anyone else notice how bad our run defense was this year. In the beginning of the year it was "oh we'll fix this as the year goes on", but we never did. Now we go to a RUN HEAVY big ten. Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan State (great run offenses).....anyone else a little worried about this. Yes out secondary is AMAZING, but what's the point in having a great secondary against "Run First" offenses. Just my opinion. Would love to hear opinions. TRUE HUSKER FAN TILL I DIE. GO BIG RED!!!!!
  8. Anyone know of any good bars/tailgating spots near the stadium? I live an hour north of San Diego and have been looking forward to this game since announced. GO BIG RED!!
