  1. Like GrillonGrill said, I love going to the spring game because of my kids (11, 5 and 3). They have a blast running around on the track and field before the game and then on the stadium field after. We usually meet up with friends and tailgate before hand and after also.
  2. Hasn't ESPN been in town to watch some of the spring practices lately?
  3. Thanks for the pics Knapp...
  4. Rattlehead does an awesome job...also can't wait to see what LSU Freek has to say.
  5. It seems like everytime Huskeronline runs an article about a said player, that player commits to a school...They ran one about Malik and he became a domer a few days later and now this where they had one about Greg and he committed to PSU.
  6. The thing I see that could help us out with Su'a and USC is that there are 2 or 3 other safeties that are interested in USC also...Max Redfield, Taahan(sp) Goodman and Priest Willis. All 3 are exceptional players and hopefully USC can only take 1 or 2 of them. I know that they would probably take all 4 and make room, but would the kids be up for it.
  7. For the guys that are somewhat complaining about TM's quote...Did any of you play high school football and what was your teams goal for any of the seasons, it was probably to win a state title. Very seldom do you here a kid talk about winning a confrence title, they always talk about the state titles...This is the same thing, only in a bigger scale. I do not have a problem with what TM said cause every athlete says the same thing about winning all the marbles and not just a confrence title.
  8. This is the type of coaching staff that we have needed. They are young, energetic and seem to know what it takes to get where you want to go. Hopefully they stay together for a few years and produce some good teams.
  9. I believe so, but the way Barney has those guys swing back and forth, it's hard to know.
  10. On a serious note, it would be a hard decision to make. I guess you would have to ask yourself if this person is the one for you and whether you can live with the truth.
  11. I think it's Arky, UCLA and LSU in that order...
  12. OSU has 3 other guys ahead of Malik on their board...
  13. This is a guy we need to grab, not only cause he is a really good player but he comes from a school that dishes out D1 players year in and year out. It would be great to be able to make inroads into that school and ones in the area also.
  14. This right here...It should also include the coaches. Hopefully Beck sticks with what is working during the game and not go away from it. He seemed to do that a few times last year, especially when we were down. he still had a little "Watson" left on him, hopefully he got that all washed off over the winter. I would agree with that...The one thing I do like is that he is creative and is willing to try things, just needs to keep trying the things that work.
  15. Taylor? Is that you? Back to the thread you're not the starting QB at a major BCS school either. Neither are you but then again, you were a DT in high school and that makes you know what Taylor is doing in that pic. Taylor does watch the ball leave his hand all the time. Go back and rewatch all the games from last season and you'll see what I'm talking about especially on his deep throws. Tell you what, if you can find evidence either in an article or video that shows any highly successful QB watching the ball as it leaves his hand I'll concede the point. You can't because they don't. Their eyes are down field. I've also thrown the football with friends while tailgating and in pickup games and even I don't watch the ball coming out of my hand. I'm watching downfield for an open receiver and then I deliver the ball. The fact that you are trying to make the case that it doesn't matter where the QBs eyes are when when he's throwing is ludicrous. Have you ever thought that he is looking at the ball to watch his release point while working on his throwing?

Yes....you have to be a QB expert to see that Taylor's throwing needs some serious work.. I'm not saying he doesn't need help on his mechanics, cause he does...I'm just poking fun at you for getting all butthurt cause someone calls out another poster.

  19. It doesn't matter who Martinez is throwing to. He could be throwing to a stationary target, a WR running a route, or a martian that just materialized through an intergalatic wormhole. The point is that the football goes to where the throwers eyes are looking. Go out to the back yard or to a park with someone and throw a football. Make throws while looking at the ball coming off of your hand and then make throws where you're looking at the person you're throwing to. You'll see the difference in accuracy immediately. Go watch fundamentally sound QBs throw, you won't see any of them staring at the ball as it leaves their hand regardless of who they're throwing to. There's someone being silly here and it isn't me. You're presuming he's throwing to a receiver, which is your first mistake. Likely he's working on the mechanics of his throwing, which Beck alluded to in Tuesday's presser. But instead of remembering that you make some conclusion and then go ranting about 9-3 seasons. You are being silly. And you're overreacting to a joke posted about it. And as we can all clearly see, ( THE ORIGINAL FREAKIN POINT!!!!! LOL!) His mechanics can still use some work. Lmao..... How do you know he is not just screwing around? Do you use perfect mechanics every time you throw a ball no matter what your doing? I don't
