Almost positive Bo calls the plays, but the way Papuchis has been getting his ass chewed I would imagine he is in charge of substitutions, and such....

The defense is opportunistic, so they have that going for them.... A lot of bending today, but to their credit, not much breaking....

1. The defense showed improvement, but we are still vulnerable to the run, and the RB out of the backfield. If Illinois can expose that, so can Northwestern, Michigan, Penn. St., and Ohio St.... Improvement, but far from good enough.... 2. Abdullah is a stud. Best RB in the B1G. 3. Bo hates Papuchis....

Michael Rose, Gregory, Cooper, and Ankrah played well today.... We've got to find an answer at Middle LB....

Definitely helps NU, our run game is the base of the O and the pass has been the base for The Illini. I'm not so sure. Illinois' passing game is very short; Armstrong loves the deep floaters, and those are more susceptible to being carried by wind. Point being that NU runs first and can rely on the ground game, The Illini will have a harder time trying to rely on the run as hey don't do it well. If all they can do is short throws our secondary will play tight and force them to try and run. They might "do it well" against us.... It seems most everyone else does....

Even with the recent struggles of our program, I am still giddy when I wake up on a Nebraska gameday..... Thank God for Nebraska Football Saturdays!
