But all I can say is that I hope that he finds something on his visit that makes NU stick in his head until the very end. It will be called "hope mom maes the trip." That is the best case scenario that I can see with Bullard. Of course an ass kicking of team Fickle based on a stout defensive performance will not hurt the cause either. True that about the performance! As far as mom is concerned, on official visits doesn't the institution generally pay for the way of the prospective student athlete and a parent? I'm honestly asking. I ask this because if she can pay their own way to go to UF, I know its a bit closer, then if their way is paid for I see her coming. Unless their is an unforseen circumstance.

This. Jameis is going to make alot of money in the MLB. But even without him, FSU has killed it on the recruiting trail the past couple of years. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. Dorial will either go to OU, Mizzou, or Bama. it feels not weird caring if this kid goes to OU or even Missouri.... Same here, my feeling now is good luck in a crappy confrence. Also add that we won't ever face them unless a bowl match up dictates it. But good riddance.

No evidence to suggest FSU is cheating but I don’t believe for a moment it’s just Jimbo and the FSU girls that are pulling in this much talent. FSU has always been able to recruit but it’s on another level right now. Also since I am making accusations without evidence I would like to add that Clemson has been cheating for awhile now too. I don't have any problems with Clemson but yes they get an insane amount of talent that an SEC team gets. For all that they have been doing recruiting wise for the last several years, they really have little to show for it in terms of on the field results. Imo

+1 Again, when he said that he'd like to earn his degree in case he doesn't make it to the next level, you don't hear a lot of prospects of his caliber say that. That stood out to me. If he comes to NU he will have every opportunity to earn his degree and get the support to do so. It seems like he understands the value of an education. Additionally, he doesn't care if he plays in 'the best' conference or the cold weather (even though most of the season is played in mild temps). Like speed said about our fan support, not many are like ours. Sure there are diehard fans of the other schools he's considering, but he'd be more appreciated here at NU.

Possibly, but isn't VV a DT. I know we have McMullen at DE but I feel that we need one more DE prospect. Anyone feel free to share position numbers.

Ok. I feel we have a chance, in comparison to UF or So Car, I'm not sure how much. It definitely sounds like we have some ground to make up on UF. What stuck out to me were his comments pertaining to conference, distance, academics and weather. Not saying were a favorite but I feel he is seriously giving us a chance. But I've been wrong before....
