We have a guard from FCS and Chubba scheduled to visit this weekend, so there must be some more attrition we aren’t aware of.

All teams have the 85 scholarship limit but some conferences are a lot more flexible with over signing than the Big 10. The super seniors are an issue impacting every school though as well.

I heard on another board Cerni is likely headed for a medical hardship.

You can only oversign by 3 in the Big 10.

I think the staff strategically scheduled him to visit 1/14 before the classes start on the 1/18 to allow recruitment of a veteran. Purdy is all but N and likely would commit if his offer was committable right now, in my opinion.

I don’t think so. If we just wanted Purdy right now, I think he would be N. The visit on 1/14 is pretty telling

We are a lateral move at best. More likely a downgrade . He’s elite program bound.

I agree, I was shocked they passed on an NT. I was saying it's suggesting to me they are content with rolling with what we have, at least into Spring.

Yeah, quite a bit heading into spring. Then you could add more after more attrition.

We added that FCS Guard and will probably add that OT from Okie Lite this weekend. I’m doubting we take anymore OL. The staff canceled a visit from a JUCO NT who was all but N a few weeks back, so we might be rolling with what we have at that spot.
