  1. http://espn.go.com/b...tions-week-12-2 MINNESOTA at No. 14 NEBRASKA Adam Rittenberg: Nebraska has had letdown games at home under Bo Pelini, and this would qualify following a grueling stretch against Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State. But the Huskers can taste a Big Ten title, and they'll respond well against a Gophers team that should play loose after getting bowl-eligible. Minnesota jumps ahead behind a Donnell Kirkwood touchdown run, but the Huskers are once again too much in the second half as RB Ameer Abdullah and QB Taylor Martinez combine for 225 rush yards and four touchdowns. ... Nebraska 33, Minnesota 20 Brian Bennett: Here's the biggest upset pick of the week -- Nebraska won't need a second-half comeback. The Legends Division title is too close now for the Huskers to mess up, and they will overwhelm the Gophers on senior day. Martinez and Abdullah both eclipse 100 yards on the ground, and Rex Burkhead gets a ceremonial carry in his final game at Memorial Stadium. ... Nebraska 37, Minnesota 16
  2. Nebraska opened up an 18.5 point favorite against the Golden Gophers. IMO, that's too many points for this team. While I think we will beat Minnesota, I just think that with the mistake prone football we have been playing, we will keep this game a lot closer than we should.
  3. I'll tell you what...this week, I'm torn. I have no idea which team is going to show up. I've seen Penn State play a handful of times this season and haven't been overly impressed, although it seems that they keep getting better every week. McGloin really does seem to be coming into his own as a passer, but I have to believe that we'll be able to pressure him since they don't really have much of a run game, forcing him into making some mistakes. My mind tells me that we're going to be the same old mistake prone, self destructive cornhuskers and turn the ball over 3 or 4 times, doing everything in our power to hand the opponent the game. My heart, however, tells me that we're due for a complete game. I say we'll shut down their run game, make them one dimensional, force a few turnovers and win by 10+.

  5. Kain Colter Chris Breezy Rihanna Nebraska against Colter last year I'll let you draw your own conclusions. Post em, if you got em.
  6. Must really suck to have a college education paid for. #FirstWorldProblems .... not surprisingly, he deleted his twitter account shortly after posting this gem.
  7. The spread just came out in favor of Ohio State by 5. The realist in me says that Ohio State is going to cover that spread pretty easily, however, after witnessing that second half performance by the defense, my homerism tells me that we're going to come out on the road, play some inspired, physical football and keep Ohio State's offense in check. Until we prove that we are capable of somewhat containing a mobile QB, I'll take Ohio State to cover.
