  3. So Penn State has given up 3 points all year in the first quarter unless I'm mistaken and we've been getting off to slow starts. Do we buck the trend this weekend and jump on them early? Also, Abdulla needs 174 yds rushing to hit 1000 on the season. Does it happen this weekend? I'm predicting yes.
  4. Does anyone else feel like maybe Watson should have to answer for why this offense is basically two dimensional? All any opponent has to do is key on Burkhead first, then look for Martinez. The O-line coach does come under the Offensive Coordinator, doesn't he? And the O-line has been in this "developmental" stage for more than 4 years under Watson. Why don't we have any other running backs that are "serviceable", even with the woes of the O-line? Why is Martinez the best we have, after all the so called "great gets" in recruiting the past few years? Is there maybe a problem with the recruiting? Like may they are not judging whether these kids can play at the speed of the NCAA? What happens if Martinez goes down? We have not seen much of anyone other than Martinez, probably because Watson don't have any faith in any of these so called backups. This offense is way too predictible now. Before it was too complicated. So what is the answer now? Where is the next great running back going to come from after Burkhead graduates? Sure haven't seen anyone that looks like they could play more than a series, and in that series actually get past the O-line. Would love to have Watson come up with some new answers, because what I am seeing now with the offense is not going to win our division in the Big Ten, let alone a NC, like Martinez claims he will be disappointed if we don't play for. Think it is time for a reality check...starting with the people at the top.
