Seems like we might have worked our way into his final group.  Probably won't really know until he picks out where his OVs will be, which won't be until next spring.

 

Planning to visit Missouri, Georgia, Alabama and LSU this fall.  Not planning a return trip to Lincoln.

Word is Drink is going to land a chopper at their game against Carthage this Friday. Bringing in the big guns. Also, Landon Bland is an 26 edge recruit will playing against Cantwell. Both big targets for mizzou.

I wonder how much track and field will play into this decision?  This is a kid who may finally break the national shot put record.  It sits at 77 ft.  I thought Jordan Geist might get it a few years ago.  Jackson should have no problem beating it.  This is a kid who given his tragectory could get Ryan Crouser's world record.  Who knows?  Problem is?  Sitting on a bench in the NFL pays way more than a world record shot putter.

Reportedly it will be a big factor. Fortunately for us we have multiple football players that are also on the track team. There is a literal plan in place currently that they can show him how it would work competing in both sports.
