BlackHillsHusker
White will be a head coach soon This team will struggle with Sims and Satterfield Quote Link to comment
PasstheDamnBallGuy
Refs took a touchdown away and we lost by one score to Minnesota. I feel like I've seen that story before. 1 6 Quote Link to comment
Crusader Husker
Jeff Sims did way more damage than the refs. Play calling with the lead was inexcusable, 8 Quote Link to comment

Popular Post SECHusker
-Corcoran got beat like a drum. -Satterfield... So many questions. What happened to TEs? Why did you throw on the first drive in the fourth? And why did you put an RB with fumble issues in on a key drive. -Why didn't Ervin carry more? 9 2 Quote Link to comment

Hammerhead
Jeff Sims reminds me a lot of Adrian Martinez. I don't mean that as a compliment. The offensive line reminds me of a turnstile. Obviously, I also don't mean that as a compliment. We find a set of plays that work one drive, then abandon them the next drive. Satterfield must've learned from the last 5-6 offensive coordinators we had. Our defense shows promise and actually appears to have made effective halftime adjustments, but any opposing offense that can get Hartzog on an island is going to go after him (and probably do so effectively). I was hoping to see a Nebraska team that didn't look like Nebraska tonight, but I didn't. New players and a new staff, and we still found ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. 1 Quote Link to comment

HuskerNation1
Tony White was a great hire. Satterfield sucks. He made many questionable calls in the 2nd half and needed to keep Sims running or rolling him out rather than sitting in the pocket. Sims is NOT a pocket passer and fails to see the defense when he sits in the pocket. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
runningblind
This was never getting fixed in one offseason, despite all the videos and culture talk people love to eat up. Be patient. This is all about building for the future in 24 and beyond. A bowl isn't happening probably, save yourself that disappointment now, that isn't a good Minnesota team we saw tonight. 8 Quote Link to comment
Head Coach Scott Frost
Matt Rhule not understanding how turnover prone Jim Sims was previously is a really bad look. Quote Link to comment

I learned Minnesota is not good, and the Huskers are the same with different names. Quote Link to comment

I agree that it takes time to rebuild, but at the same time we have had the athletes to compete the past couple years. It has been the decision making of the QBs and OC that has cost us many games. Those are things that should be able to get corrected quickly when you have the chance to hire a new OC and select a new QB. 2 Quote Link to comment
