LB Dawson Merritt

To which school will Merritt commit?

Definitely not a good week for recruiting. We're likely going to miss out on all the Bishop Gorman kids who were projected to us at one point.

 
For committing elsewhere, Dawson sure seems tuned into our recruits and commitments. Not to do it too heavy on the Kool-Aid, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him flip by signing day. Going to be a very interesting transition year for the Bama boys.

Congratulating Mozee within a couple of hours of the flip was a reminder, but for being committed elsewhere, it just seems to me that he's got a good pulse on our program. Adding more recruits he is friends with has to help. Wouldn't be surprised to see him at a couple of games here this fall.

Well at least going 6-1 in the first 7 games would help.  7-0 and we would be over the moon.

 
Maybe this is ITT and I've just forgotten...

Dad is the DB coach for the Kansas City Chiefs.  Lincoln seems to be closer to Kansas City than Tuscaloosa...
