I love that after all the sh!t talking from Colorado, that this is still how we react. a testament to our coaches and players.
I also think Travis Hunter is just on a different level than the Sanders clan. He’s super intelligent, gets great grades, speaks highly of others when it’s warranted, and is a fierce competitor without talking down to folks or degrading them. He’s a different animal in more ways than one. Too bad he won’t transfer here for a season. Ha.Not to downplay the obnoxiousness of Colorado and the positive culture we have (because I think both are true), but I do think it's a little too easy to kind of demonize opposing players and teams. Here's Travis Hunter fixing Neyor's jersey after a play:
Was he still doing stuff like this when it was 28-0? Probably not. Would Ty have been if the game went the other way? More likely, but I still doubt it.
And FWIW I do think the disgust with each of the Sanders and some of the other guys on that team is 100% warranted. I just think as a whole college football fans have less respect and more hate for opposing players which isn't a trend that I like (and may not be a real thing, just how I see it). Like I hate Colorado as a team, but I do like how a few of their guys play - Silmon-Craig and Hunter in particular, minus all the chirping between plays. And dudes like Shedeur and Shilo totally have it coming, talking a lot of crap when they're up and then whining and dodging blame when they lose.

I absolutely do not put Travis in the same light as a lot of his teammates! He has a good head on his shoulders! 4.0 student and not caught up in a lot of the other nonsense. Not to downplay the obnoxiousness of Colorado and the positive culture we have (because I think both are true), but I do think it's a little too easy to kind of demonize opposing players and teams. FWIW, Jimmy Horn seems to be a better character than Travis.I do like Travis Hunter. If he wasn't a 1st round NFL draft lock I'd want him to ditch that Sanders train wreck and see if he'd want Dylan throwing passes to him instead. Maybe Horn?
Giving credit where it’s due, early in the game Travis Hunter helped one of ours retuck his shoulder pads into his jersey. I think he also helped him up.I love that after all the sh!t talking from Colorado, that this is still how we react. a testament to our coaches and players.

I saw that during game and my mom side said “awww”. You would be surprised at how close players are. It’s a small world. Probably play fortnight or whatever together.Husker in WI said:Not to downplay the obnoxiousness of Colorado and the positive culture we have (because I think both are true), but I do think it's a little too easy to kind of demonize opposing players and teams.
