For less than the cost of a burger, fries, and a beer, you too can watch. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
presidentjlh
Frustrated as I am, I still think Nebraska should roll on this one. 1 Quote Link to comment
admo
I love the 11am games the best. And I never would have said that 10 years ago. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Television means turning on your cable box and watching channels sent from the tv company to your box. That's not how Peacock works. I don't have the time to describe how streaming works. 4 1 Quote Link to comment

This isn’t quite right but I get your point. A better term is cable television. You can’t watch Peacock through cable TV. Quote Link to comment

Packerhuskerfan
It should be a victory. If Nebraska loses, no bowl game. 1 Quote Link to comment

Technically correct. But Peacock, like other streaming services, can easily be viewed just like cable or OTA, on your television, with the only additional requirements being a subscription, internet and a smart TV. The only one of these that isn’t a given nowadays is the subscription. Functionally, I cannot tell the difference if we are watching a cable provided network like FOX, ABC, BTN or a streaming service like Peacock, Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc. I get being slightly torqued over being nickel and dimed for another $5/mo. (heck I have to pay an addl $10/mo. for the sports tier that provides BTN in my cable pkg) but all those millions of dollars in tv contract money that is being given to teams like Nebraska are coming from somewhere and we the fans and viewers are that somewhere. It’s still immensely better than the radio only or PPV days. Quote Link to comment

A signal comes into my home, it is connected to my television, therefore its "television." Same definition as yours. Your deal is an underlying issue of either being cheap or having some quaint idea that all sports and programming should be free. Good luck. No, it isn't.
