Moiraine
I actually don’t think Rutgers will be ranked when we play them. There are too many teams for them to leap over and not enough teams ranked 20-30 lost. We actually received more votes than they did last week but I think they’ll get more this week because they beat Washington. Just not enough to crack the too 25. But Indiana will be ranked tomorrow I think. Quote Link to comment

They are tough, but they gave up over 500 yards of offense to UW. RU had no business winning that game. RU is one of those teams you have to play clean against and will hang around and beat you if you don’t. 1 Quote Link to comment

One thing that I think is amazing is the turnover margin. I hope I'm not going to jinx it, but Nebraska being positive on the year is a considerable accomplishment. If they are even in turnovers with Rutgers, this will probably turn into another 1 score game. Hopefully Nebraska can find a way to win it. 1 Quote Link to comment
admo
It is cool seeing Rutgers being undefeated and playing well. They seem to have gotten a bit better each year. A bit more talented. A bit more physical. Esp since they are roughly 20 miles from NYC and Brooklyn. I will tip my hat if they beat us. But I will be more shocked if that happens. Should be a close game. And they do have the best RB on the field. Some good corners. Their QB is Kaliakmanis who transferred from Minnesota (we played him last year). But this is a home game. I think we have an edge, and a better QB, and overall talent. In the end, Huskers should cover the spread and win by 10 or more. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Per HOL: Rutgers under Schiano have scored 63 non-offensive touchdowns. They have also blocked 71 kicks - 41 punts, 17 FGs, 13 XPs. We better figure things out in the kicking game. Fast. 1 Quote Link to comment

Fast. if we don't attempt any FGs we can't miss them nor have them blocked. but i am hoping we can do better than that. lol 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Crusader Husker
I know the father of a guy who is the asst. Special teams coach at Rutgers. GS puts a huge amount of time and effort into Special teams. He said they have more blocked kicks and punts since GS got there then the rest of the B1G combined. GS beleives they will never lose that phase of the game. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Rutgers should not have beaten Washington. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Looking at the stats from this game. It looks like Rutgers had one thing going on offense. Monangai had 135 yards rushing and one TD. Other than that, nobody had more than 5 carries. Their QB was only 14/24 for 115 yards and a TD.(58% completion rate) Quote Link to comment
