I don't know if you've been to a game in person lately, but lots of fans in the stands mirror the critical thinking skills of some around here as well.  I would say the mix is largely the same.

Ha ha, fair. I actually went to the Colorado game this year, but that’s not a great test considering the pageantry and great feeling that people left with.
