What did we learn

Recommended Posts

Well you can tell the Scott Frost era is over when we're complaining about 18 point wins instead of celebrating 7 point losses.

But I get it, it probably would have been 42-3 if the refs let them play.

Love how Raiola takes care of the ball.  How many ugly wins would we have had the last several years if we just had a QB that could take care of the ball?  Probably lots.

Offense still has a ways to go.  Colorado's DBs got the better of our WRs.  Offensive line is physical, did a lot of good stuff.  Still way too inconsistent for how many starts they all have under their belts.  RBs looked good.  Wonder how we'd be feeling if the refs didn't kill the momentum every single chance they got.  Never seen anything like it.

Defense is fantastic.  Give Tony White all the money.   Dominated.  What else is there to say?

Colorado's defense is better than I expected.

Colt McCoy sucks.

We need kicker tryouts.

Feels good the be the one to ruin Colorado's season.

Rhule has it moving in the right direction.  If we can continue to be the more physical team and win the turnover and possession battles, we'll be hard to beat for a lot of teams.

Anyone complaining about how the 2nd half went and can’t simply enjoy an absolute a$$ whipping over CU is a miserable NU fan.

Most of us have been miserable NU fans for the better part of a decade.  It'll take time to get over the trauma.

Yeah I screamed and cussed at the TV for almost the entire 2nd half but once the offense took a chunk of the clock out in the 4th quarter and got it under 4 minutes, it was time to just be happy that the team went out and finished the game with a 3-score win. 3. Score. Win. LFG.

Something I've learned throughout this week (which I probably should have learned last year) is Deion fans are insane and mentally challenged. They are still on YouTube comments after the game crying about anyone saying anything negative about him. I honestly don't know if I have ever seen anything like this with any other fandom before, certainly not in college football. Most college football fans have enough shame to be on message boards or YouTube b!^@hing about how badly their team sucked.

On the Buffs forums I glanced at they are b!^@hing about Colorado sucking. I see these people more as bandwagon Deion bros, who are somehow even worse than the normal Buff fan.

The Huskers played today?  Huh…I shut off the TV and started drinking after Iowa State dumped those idiot Sqwuakeyes.  Now…somebody tell my Nebraska fan neighbor to give my ISU flag back!
