LOL, click play on this and it starts at the right time. Shideur describes his pick six as "a rookie mistake," lmao:

You're a senior! But I digress...

I think he was trying to say it was just unacceptable to make that mistake.

6:13 sounds like Colorado will roll with getting shedeur checked out for why he left early

Deion was very complimentary of Nebraska

"It was a wrap" when they pulled him out? A dog would have ran one more series because there was plenty of time for a come back with just under 4 minutes left. Not a good look.

I want to go down swinging?? Then why did you abandon your team and go to the locker room with your entourage? You're a bi**h

The announcers called him out on that, too, but the later word was that Shadeur was in concussion protocol. Don't know if anyone followed that up.

Shadeur himself said he basically wasn't hurt. Said something to the effect that it's nothing that a little post game rehab wouldn't fix.

LOL, have you guys read this yet? I think Sean Keeler (Denver Post) is the guy Deion got banned from coming to the pressers:

https://www.denverpost.com/2024/09/07/deion-sanders-cu-buffs-prime-time-punched-nebraska/

Quote

"You don’t bring a 30-carat diamond watch to a sword fight.

An NIL deal won’t chip an angry defensive end. You can’t microwave what has to be baked, slowly.

The Buffs were built for this moment. A foundation made of glitter, sand and promises, broken like so many hearts. Nebraska punched CU in the mouth. By the time the Buffs got up off the canvas, the bell had rung and the judges had gone home."

And:

Quote

Oregon 2023 postgame: You better get us now.

Nebraska 2024: Hold our beers.

And also:

Quote

They don’t get it. They might never get it. Deion Sanders could outrun the football gods and dare them to keep pace. Coach Prime can’t. At some point, all that empty catches up with you.

I didn't like that he said "...start the party on 'P' Street." I mean, yeah there are some bars on 'P' St.

I wouldn't have a player taking post game presser questions if I was worried they had a concussion.

It's an incredibly bad look all around.

Another circulating theory I heard was they wanted to get Shadeur off the field before fans potentially rushed it because he would be a prime target (no pun intended) for some kind of harassments or even assault. Not saying I believe/disbelieve it, just a popular theory making the rounds today.

If it was concussion protocol, that's way, way more of a terrible story. He got his bell rung, and then he was still in the game and threw a touchdown pass, and then he was sitting on the sidelines, and then they send him to the locker room to get checked out? If it was concussion protocol, trainers should be losing their jobs and this should be a front page story of putting him in danger.

To be fair, he sounded like he had a concussion.

Spend some of that sweet NIL bag on speaking classes.

Agree here.  After the Gbayor hit he went directly to the sidelines and took a knee and asked for help.  I thought he was done then and there.  But he came back in after the review and finished the series.  Plus if he was suspected of a concussion I don't think you'd want him in the bright lights answering questions from the media immediately after the game.

If I were Colorado AD, knowing his departure is inevitable, I’d get rid of Deion now. Get out in front of this before Deion leaves on his own narrative. Also this allows new staff to salvage what they can of recruiting class but also the program before Deion drives more players away.
