BoSolich
Have to give credit to Rhule. He's at least trying to make some sort of change. Dana has a ton of experience with some good offenses. 1 2 2 Quote Link to comment
hskrpwr13
Should've just hired him as the new OC. But i agree with giving Rhule credit for doing something to try to shake up things. 1 3 Quote Link to comment
Micheal
Wonder if this is our new OC come end of the season. Move Satterfield to an offensive consultant. 2 1 Quote Link to comment
The Duke
7 minutes ago, Micheal said: Wonder if this is our new OC come end of the season. Move Satterfield to an offensive consultant. ESPN reported that he was hired as the offensive consultant with a potentially "evolving role." Take that for what you will, but Satterfield is most likely as good as gone for next season, with Holgorsen having an inside track to possibly be the OC next year. 3 3 1 Quote Link to comment
DefenderAO
Just fire Satterfield. How many demotions can he get? If Satt had any integrity he’d relieve himself of duty. But he probably doesn’t see what is happening. “More OJT for me from this Dan Huggerstein guy! Go Big Blue!” 3 1 Quote Link to comment
GISker
Holgerson would be GREAT, he is hungry to show his coaching ability and a really good offensive coach! 1 Quote Link to comment

Hulgerson is coming in, for the most part, totally cold to the system that has been developed here. He doesn't know what terminology is being used...etc. He also isn't as familiar with the players. So, I can't imagine him being able to just step in immediately and start calling plays. I do want him heavily involved though and not just casually observing. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Lorewarn
As long as he's not touching recruiting (because he won't want to anyways) and it doesn't result in a drop-off in recruiting, I'm hesitantly optimistic and excited for him to 'evolve' into Marcus Satterfield's successor. Quote Link to comment

I think he could have an immediate impact as he has already shown in the past. He is one of the best offensive minds in the game. He has his short comings in other areas but I absolutely embrace the idea of him controlling our offense. He is a run heavy air raid guy that has shown he can put up huge rushing numbers while still getting the most out of the passing game. Heck I trust Raiola more than Satt. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
schriznoeder
Holgorsen is also the creator of one of my personal favorites - the diamond formation (i.e. the inverted wishbone). Make it happen! How different teams use the diamond formation - Football Study Hall 2 4 Quote Link to comment
