Danny Bateman
Serious question: is the sex offender registry fall under the purview of the AG? Like could he remove himself from it? If so that’s probably another reason Trump picked him. Obviously the justice system was weaponized when they found him to be an adjudicated rapist: https://bsky.app/profile/joshuajfriedman.com/post/3lawrbbap6s2 Quote ABC: Woman testified to House Ethics Committee that Gaetz had sex with her when she was 17 2 Link to comment

It’s not worth it, and that political capital is better spent on passing more important legislation. I couldn't agree more. Personally, I obviously didn't want Trump to win. But I was hoping they would use their political capital on an Immigration Bill that's sorely needed. Yes, it would probably end up being a more conservative version of the Bipartisan Bill last summer but that's just the benefit of winning elections. The American People want Conservative immigration policy and it's needed. 1 3 Link to comment

BigRedBuster
Wouldn’t it be funny if Elon and Vivek came back and said the federal government would save a lot of money going to a single payer healthcare plan? 1 Link to comment

He doesn’t need it at all. He’s simply going to do and get everything he wants. He also doesn’t give a good goddamn about more important issues because, once again, he’ll get whatever he wants. He could give two s#!ts about how it affects the R party or the US. He doesn’t care about any of that. He is only in it for himself and his retribution tour and, to a limited degree, for those who have kissed his a$$ sufficiently. Political capital… More important agenda and legislation… Pffft, badges? We don’t need no stinking badges. 1 4 Link to comment
Danny Bateman
@JJ Husker Incredibly disappointed your gov is out here defending this anti-vax dips#!t. I know why we already talked about why we don’t think he runs in ‘28 but yeesh man. There’s been a lot of talk about needing to better understand and empathize and welcome the diversity of thought amongst the Trump coalition. Not on this subject, IMO. Anti-vax crowd is one of the biggest group of mouth breathing idiots out there. They shouldn’t be understood or empathized with or encouraged. They should be roundly mocked and laughed at for being complete morons. 1 3 Link to comment

So, all research will stop on new drugs and treatments for cancer, Alzheimer’s, other infectious diseases. 1 Link to comment

Anti-vax people are morons who misunderstand or abuse science to prop up their s#!tty arguments and they shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near any post of scientific authority. Usually rich idiots with more money and free time than brains who want to feel like they’re actually smarter than everyone when they’re not. Sorry if that’s tough to hear. Truth hurts. 2 7 Link to comment
