I guess his name is no longer on it after his drunken Oprah rant at his Big a$$ Honkey Tonk Rock-'n'-roll Steakhouse (actual name) in Nashville. But you can still get Mom's Spaghetti from Eminem! 1 Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
SI and CBS Sports are both predicting the Rate Bowl in Phoenix, however this might be predicated on us losing to Iowa. The HuskerOnline guys mentioned Phoenix as a possibility but said it was the 4th most likely in their minds. SportingNews is predicting the Pinstripe bowl, however all this means to me is they don't quite understand how bowl selections work, or they haven't done enough research. The list below was the 2023 order, but on the HuskerOnline video they were saying Pinstripe still has one of the last picks for Big Ten teams. Anyone who knows anything about Nebraska would know that there is no way the other bowls are going to pass us up and let us fall that far. If we're not the best team for any bowl game to pick in regards to all the different ways they can make money, we're at least top 3. We're probably even better than Alabama because their fans are probably barely holding on right now from all the stress of winning only 9 games if they beat Auburn. They also said the bowl games can pick a 6-6 team over a 7-5 team if they want to, or a 7-5 over an 8-4. No. 1 New Year's Six. The champion goes to either the Cotton Bowl Classic, the Fiesta Bowl or the Peach Bowl unless they are selected for the College Football Playoff. No. 2 The Citrus Bowl versus SEC No. 3 The ReliaQuest Bowl versus SEC No. 4 The Duke's Mayo Bowl versus ACC (even-numbered years) or the Las Vegas Bowl versus Pac-12 (odd-numbered years) No. 5 The Music City Bowl versus SEC No. 6 The Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl versus ACC 1 Quote Link to comment

Callahan thinks it will be one of the following: Music City - Nashville 12/30 ReliaQuest - Tampa 12/31 Duke's Mayo - Charlotte 1/3 Also, a couple things mentioned by HuskerOnline that I didn't know about since Nebraska doesn't like going to Bowls: Commits who start in January can participate in bowl practices. Maybe they could help with scout team? But even just watching will help them. We have 14 coming early. Bowl games don't count against the 4 freshman games. Also, someone named "Mike Hawk" did a paid comment during their video, followed by "Mike Hunt," followed by "Jack Meehoff." Heywood J'Blohme, Pat McCrotch, Hugh G. Wreckshon and Dixon Cider were waiting in the queue Quote Link to comment
DrinkinwitTerrellFarley
9 hours ago, Mavric said: They don't go strickly by conference standings but we'd have the same record - or better - as all of those. Considering Michigan is likely to lose to Ohio State, Washington is likely to lose to Oregon, and USC likely to lose to Notre Dame, Minnesota is the only one that would have as good of a record as us (if they beat Wisconsin), and the conference will almost assuredly send Nebraska to the more high-profile bowl. Plus the bowls are about making money, attendance, viewership, pent up demand/no recent bowl appearances in the area and travel dollars that follow. Nebraska is in a good spot to be the highest in the pecking order for teams with similar records. Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
This has us in the Music City bowl vs LSU https://www.google.com/amp/s/247sports.com/longformarticle/college-football-bowl-projections-playoff-picks-updated-in-week-14-alabama-out-tennessee-in-after-sec-chaos-240313236/amp/ Quote Link to comment
Micheal
Would be nice for fans to get to a warm weather location like Phoenix, Tampa or Orlando. But anywhere is better than nowhere! More than anything I want a good matchup. I don't want Nebraska to be matched up against a borderline Playoff team. Give us a team with a similar record. Bowl games should always work like that but too often we see 10-2 SEC team vs 7-5 B1G or whatever. Quote Link to comment
Nebfanatic
If we beat Iowa we could absolutely wind up in the Citrus bowl could we not? Oregon, OSU, Illinois and Penn State all going to the playoff could do the trick. Quote Link to comment
