I don’t think it’s that big of a deal but you have to win if you pull this. Sports psychology 101. Never give your opponent the slightest edge, emotional boost, or psychological advantage. Hopefully this is yet another learning moment. The game is as much mental and emotional as it is physical. This just makes you look weak. 2 Quote Link to comment

Eh…considering how Iowa had security run our guys off the field pregame, I get why they would be salty. Not saying it’s right…just that I get why it happened. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Kinda like taunting your opponent after beating them last year on their field? Having your kicker blow kisses to the sideline? but omg, the ever sacred mid field handshake. who cares? 2 Quote Link to comment
BigRedRig
Win or lose, it’s better to do it with class. I have a good friend who played for Elon in NC. He tells a funny story about when they were playing Liberty one year. The Elon guys were cursing, taunting and trying to intimidate the Liberty kids. The Liberty kids did not retaliate and even were saying “Bless you” while helping them up off the ground. He said it was especially embarrassing as Liberty proceeded to dominate the scoreboard. He said he much rather they cursed back at them. 1 Quote Link to comment
Hooked on Huskers
Husker curse is alive and well. Finding another ways to lose games. Once again case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde meeting. Next year, back to no bowl streak. Quote Link to comment

Especially if we can get some of these young get players quality time with coaches pre-bowl. 1 Quote Link to comment
