As he should be.

By now, Bo would be at 150 career wins.  I know the people that are still scared of Bo will RUN to this post to tell us how Bo would have never won another game at NU.  But it was a huge mistake firing him.

I had a family member playing on that field for Iowa last night....cant wait till the convo on his one.

What we need is a hard nose coach who takes the game seriously. Say all you want about ugly Iowa wins but the fact is they are typically well disciplined and they find ways to win.  Frost, Riley and Rhule want to be friends with the team instead of having the ‘business’ like relationship. They were the same with the assistant coaches. I hate to say it but Deion was write in his approach- got to cut the dead weight to change the culture

Sanders is brutally honest and I think a lot of players appreciate that.

While I'm not exactly going to be one of those people, I will 100% disagree with you that firing him was a mistake.  I think the two biggest mistakes we made were giving him a contract extension when we could've fired him a year earlier and potentially had better options, and hiring coaches to replace him that destroyed our culture.

Bo couldn't recruit and couldn't win big games, and sometimes he only barely won the games we were supposed to win.  Is that better than where we are now?  Sure.  Would we, as a fanbase, be any happier now if we still looked like Nebraska circa 2014 instead of circa 2024?  I highly doubt it.

Yeah, he totally could not win big games.

Back to back top 15 teams vs Okie State and Mizzo.

Also, remember, the "tough teams" he could not beat, like Wisky, suck now.

Recruiting is no longer recruiting, buying players is much easier and Bo was a master at getting good JC guys, who would now be guys he would pluck from MAC schools.

Gone are the days of kissing the a$$ of a 17 year old.  Bo would have been recruiting grown men who would have loved him.

You can't have a coach that wins 11 games if you don't have a coach that can win 9 or 10 games first.

Another thing Ruhle in his off season of soul searching needs to strongly look at is his game demeanor.  The guy just looks like he's gonna piss his pants out of nervousness 85% of the time.  Exude confidence and maybe then your team might show some as well, instead of the look of doubt after any negativity because their coach is on the sideline sweating bullets

I’ve been thinking this all year. His awful challenges and screaming at refs during correct calls or for no reason while his team screws up. I saw him yelling after a false start. He is grasping for any help because deep down he doesn’t feel he can get it done.

It is all true.  But why work if you don't have to work?

We all talk with our friends and family about what we would do it we were super rich and did not have to work and most of us are not like "Geez, I would totally work a high pressure job where people rip on my every move"

Why isn';t Urban Meyer coaching?  Why isn't Saban coaching?

Sorry, I like Bo and I liked his wins and we all hate every loss so that argument is not valid.  We all did the "He gets blown out in big games" bit but there are no big games if you are not winning a lot of games.

And last night was a close loss, how did that feel, did you guys LOVE it.

Anyway.  Rhule might be "the answer" but I think it is going to be as a CEO, which is fine, no one cares.  Just hire great coordinators and let them hire their asst coaches.

Worry less about HS recruiting and "developing" which I know Husker fans are in love with.  Let lame schools from the MAC and Sun Valley (is that a conference) develop guys for you, for 2-3 years, and then bring them here.
