secretasianman
https://www.si.com/college-football/iowa-players-call-out-nebraska-matt-rhule-pregame-disrespect I did not notice this last night. It is disappointing that our guys would behave that way. Thoughts? 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Popular Post Red Five
It's disappointing that Ferentz sent out the SWAT team to guard the Hawkeye logo so Nebraska couldn't pray at midfield in the pre-pregame. Everyone needs to stop being so soft. 3 4 3 5 Quote Link to comment
gossamorharpy
This was partly discussed in another thread. horrendous look. They, and by extension this program, looks like chumps. It’s arrogant behavior displayed by a bunch of players who have accomplished absolutely nothing. Nothing like providing additional bulletin board material to a program who has had our number for 10 years now. its players and behavior like this that makes me feel embarrassed waking up today. Can’t make fundamental plays, can’t finish games, mentally weak and they act like pompous a$$h@!es. Very little to be happy about today with Nebraska football 3 1 3 Quote Link to comment

For a team that can’t help itself from s#!tting its own pants on a near weekly basis, perhaps we shouldn’t be causing additional off the field drama for no reason and just focus on winning a game, for once 3 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
Rhule claims to want to change the culture and instead he is making it worse. This is trending all over social media and is a HUGE black eye for Rhule's program. I don't care if the other team blocked our players from praying in a certain part of the field. It's pathetic to teach young men not to shake hands and only gives the opposition ammunition. If Rhule is serious about changing the culture, he should force these players to sit out the bowl game and I don't care if they are seniors or not. 1 2 1 Quote Link to comment

runningblind
It's not the fact that they didn't shake hands, it's the fact that they sh!+ the bed after doing so. Do that and win 28-0? Love it. Do it and piss yourself? Clown show. It's a rivalry, they blow kisses and do similar stuff, no big deal. The point is you better cash the check you write and Nebraska can't do that. 2 1 2 Quote Link to comment

Find some place else to pray. It’s continues to create drama. 1 Quote Link to comment

Only on this one post. Is it a great look absolutely not, but to call for them to take themselves out of their first bowl game since 2016 is just silly 2 2 Quote Link to comment
Red Five
Hell if not shaking hands motivates our defense to give up only 5 first downs, 1.9 yards/carry, and 165 yards all game I hope we never shake hands again at the coinflip. 3 1 3 Quote Link to comment

All I am saying is that its a really low point for the program when our players refuse to shake the oppositions hands. It's childish and immature and may help explain why this team is struggling to win close games. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Just shake hands like a normal person. NU choked and lost the game. If the team is gonna try the tough guy look and not shake hands, you better win the game or else you just look like a bunch of chump babies who deserved to get mocked by Iowa players. 2 2 Quote Link to comment
