If this guy was good enough to come in and make an impact when he was looking at us it seems stupid to turn around and call him a bum when he isn't. We may not like losing players to schools like KSUCKS but we shouldn't turn on a player and act like they are any worse of an athlete because of it. My god men, we're Nebraska lets show some class. The same thing happened with the recent decommit. People are all happy when we get a commit, but then when he decommits people say things like, "We need better players than that anyway." That's bs. Exactly. Doesn't make the kid less of a prospect or exciting player. When a player commits elsewhere, I lose interest in him. Nothing more, nothing less. Quote Link to comment

First, while I recognize the potential and wish the kid wanted to play for the Huskers, I don't want him if he has any doubts about coming here. Second, I'd rather they do this during the recruiting season - when we have a chance to go after someone else - rather than pull a Beck. Quote Link to comment

I think it is just a reflex in some of us to hate any player that will be wearing the purple or any other schools colors that is a threat to Nebraska to win the National Title. Quote Link to comment
