Forget about the difference in weather, if you are only offered two scholarships, one from South Florida and the other from Nebraska and you select South Florida, then your an idiot and wouldn't be smart enough to qualify in the first place.....

And why in the HE!! are we recruting a kid like that anyway, it's one thing to steal a recruit from OU or Texas but WOW to get one away from South Florida thats impressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No that is not the case. If you are only offered two scholarships, one from USF and one from UNL then you will probably never see the two deep at Nebraska. It would be a wise move if he wants to see the field to go somewhere where he has a shot.

I am not saying he sucks because I don't know. I am speaking in general terms. If you are a JuCo and Minn hasn't come with an offer or KSU hasn't came knocking maybe you are not that good.

Since Barfield is in, does Dixon follow??? Do we have room for him?

No room at the Husker Inn. Find us an O-lineman!!!!

I agree. We need Burkes and Cornell, and this class will be complete.

Amazing class so far. The two O-Linemen will top it off!

bad recruiting. how many juco dt's do we need to waste scholarships on? nice to see that the 4 deep will have guys that will never see the field. how about an ol or a hs dt to build long term depth? looks good with the 25 wrs on scholly.

I was thinking we'd go with a HS recruit, but Dixon is here so welcome to Husker Nation! I hope he plays with a chip on his shoulder and is motivated to see the field. As posts have speculated, he likely could have had the playing time at South Florida. But that's all in the past now and he chose us for a reason. Good luck to you Kevin and kick some ass!

What do you mean Bad recruiting we have no depth at DT we took 3 highschool DT this year, Roark tore his peck muscle jensen is still getting over his shoulder surgery so I am fine with them taking 2 juco def. tackles, specially since Townsend is supposed to play at DE. GBR

He had mentioned that the NU staff would NOT talk down other programs and only wanted to talk about what NU has to offer.

That's great to hear that our coaches are refusing to recruit that way. Maybe that will shut up some of the people who like to say we are dirty recruiters!!!! :thumbs

So what is the deal with the four stars? When are they done giving them out? I really thought guys like Travis Lewis, Prince, Crick and Yancy to all receiver four stars as well. Then there were always the possibilities of guys like Washington and Stafford to receiver four stars. I am also very surprised that Paul didnt receive five.

Nevermind I got my answer, Travis Lewis is now listed as a four star along with William Yancy. That is now 12 four stars and the possiblity of some others like Washington, Stafford, and Barfield. If that happens 15 four stars would be damn fine with me.

Jeremy Crabtree said last week that the final adjustments would be made this week. It looks like they are done.

I'm surprised Crick didn't get bumped because he played in one of the All-American games

Rivals teaser says he may be visiting Ksu before signing day? Please tell me this isn't true...who in their right mind would even consider land of the purple...

Not to worry...I have looked into it further and I'm reading it was one big dumb rumor.

Maybe I'm wrong here. Maybe I'm just imagining this. Perhaps my interpretation is incorrect. But I get this crazy, funny feeling that maybe, perhaps, possibly, could be that no one on this board likes KSU?

Really? Truly? For sure? Positively? I'm I off base here?

Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
