mahoney
He's got great size and ability. It would be nice to get him. The problem I see is that he wants to be an immediate starter and that won't happen at Nebraska imo. If Lincoln doesn't impress him more than Ames then we suck. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
We have so many secondary guys now that it's hard to say we don't really need him, but IMO we don't. He would definately start his first year at ISU. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Begs the question; are we expecting a last minute defection from Mr. Ross? Where there is smoke, there is fire. Quote Link to comment
Big Red Cop
To bring a guy in this late into the process for a visit leads me to believe that the coaches might have a bad feeling about a player not ending up at NU. Due to the fact that the secondary position was heavily recuited this year. Quote Link to comment
T-BONE
How many times is he going to change his mind is my question. I am not sure what he wants and where he wants to go. Quote Link to comment
TrueHuskerFan
My first reaction was why do we need another JUCO secondary player, but the coaches know what they are doing. I agree something must be going on with another recruit unfortunetly. We'll see what happens, I'm looking foward to signing day. Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
He committed to ISU and is not visiting NU. Quote Link to comment
huskers1
So who are we all recruiting still? For a while I thought we were just recruiting Patin, Peters, and Amie. Those were our main targets. I guess I am just looking for some legit possibilities that we could possibly be looking at. Quote Link to comment
T-BONE
He is listed as a soft verbal though so he might vist history has shown he is not true to his word. Quote Link to comment
FriscoTXHusker
I assume coaches have to play every angle, consider every eventuallity and assume nothing. They have to have plan A, plan B, plan C, etc. Assuming anything is a done deal, unfortunately, could really put one in a bad spot. Look at our QB situation! Beck out, Freeman out, Keller in. Who could have foreseen this? Quote Link to comment
husker rob
with the progressive thinker that ISU has as AD, can you blame the guy. ISU is such a football powerhouse, who wouldnt want to play there Quote Link to comment
Spartness
He committed to ISU and is not visiting NU. I find it hard to believe that NU still had a scholarship waiting for this kid, unless one of the DB commitments is soft. There appears to be no indication of this. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
He's going where the playing time will be already open for him so it doesn't surprise me. However; once he finds out the AD there is taking that program down the drain he may not be happy with his decision. Quote Link to comment
