The only song I can remember is that hideous, monotonous, plodding, fight song. The words are below:Just curious Trojan Alum, what are the first three songs the Trojan band plays at each game?TrojanAlum said:Yes they will travel some of the team and no they are not that impressive so dont get to excited.

This is the only song we know
It's boring and it's slow
Our SAT's are loooooow.
The "monotonous" fight song you're talking about is Tribute to Troy, or at least the opening part of it (Fanfare). It's one of the more militaristic fight songs in the nation, and contrary to popular opinion it isn't played after every play - just after every defensive stop and turnover. "Fight On" is the school's official fight song and it's played after every first down and touchdown. My personal favorite is Conquest, which comes after touchdowns and victories. At the beginning of the song the USC partisans shout "Beat... the [insert mascot]" and during the major part we kind of uulate. Hard to describe.Dont forget the next line.............The only song I can remember is that hideous, monotonous, plodding, fight song. JK!
It does kinda sound like the Imperial tune.I like that one song. It sounds like something from Star Wars.
Talk about a band that has one song, how about Oklahoma?
Sure thing brodeo. Did the track athletes also give wedgies to the math team?Being a former track athlete and having to share the same field with the band, you develop hatred towards them. In fact at one party a few of them ended up in the pool! What a bunch of dorks…
Okay, here I go :rant . Listen Bro, I’m from Southern California and I know many arrogant USC alumni (arrogance pretty much describes all of them, still trying to figure out what they feel so arrogant about. None of them has ever been smart enough to explain it). I also know a couple who were in the band and are now band directors at high schools. Both of those band directors took high schools with perfectly good fight songs and long traditions and basically turned their fight song into that piece of crap “Fight On.” They also use that “Tribute to Troy” something like a thousand times a game (just like USC). USC fans are under the mistaken opinion that people care about them (and their band). It’s the same mentality as the idiot Raider fans in the “Black Hole” up in Oakland. As if anyone else gives a crap. No, the song does not “get into the heads of opposing fans and teams.” We all just think it is stupid. And we think you are stupid for thinking we give a sh#t what you do. It’s kind of like when you were in grade school and there was that annoying little puke who was a social outcast, and who always said something inappropriate, and when you called him on it his response was to keep repeating “I know you are but what am I?” It didn’t get into any of the normal people’s heads. It just left us wondering how anybody could be so pathetic. THAT is what it is like when your band plays that piece of crap Troy tribute over and over and over and over and over and over again. The "monotonous" fight song you're talking about is Tribute to Troy, or at least the opening part of it (Fanfare). The TMB backed Fleetwood Mack when they recorded Tusk, and all USC fans shout "U-C-L-A sucks!" during the refrain. (Is it the refrain? I'm musically challenged.)
Yes, the songs are incessant. Yes, they get into the heads of opposing fans and teams. And yes, that's the way I like it.
The band has not missed a USC game in twenty years. It always takes a full complement to Notre Dame, but I don't know if the entirety will be in Memorial on Saturday.
