captain obvious
The defense actually earned those comments this time. It really sucks that they went and proved him right about all the preseason Husker-bashing. Some of the sh#t he was saying before the USC game was a bit un-called for, although now they are just vindicating him. Sad. Quote Link to comment

HUSKERWANK07
Any publicity is good publicity How do you figure? Atleast they're talking about the huskers No Husker fan wants to hear them talk about us in a bad way. Quote Link to comment
papersun87
Actually, I think I'd rather have them point out that we're doing badly than to have us fly under their radar completely. If they're saying, "Hold on, Nebraska isn't doing so hot!" it sends a message that, "We expected better of them," which hopefully means we're gaining a little national respect back. At least they see us as worthy of their mention. . . . right? *shrug* Quote Link to comment
junior4949
Well, I'm not sure about gaining respect back because we did give up over 600 yards offense to a team that hasn't had a winning record for over a decade. However, if they quit talking about us all together it pretty much means we are nonexistent in the eyes of college football any longer (kind of like SMU). This would be really bad! strigori
I actually agree with May this time. How anyone can say other wise, must have been in a cave for the last two weeks. The defense has not played well, hence, Off the Mark. It sucks to have it making news, but it is what it is. Quote Link to comment
Necava Husker
Maybe Mark May should discuss the rebuilding effort of his alma mater, Pittsburg. They are 2-2 coming off a loss to the mighty Huskies—the Connecticut Huskies, that is. Oh yeah, did I mention that Mark May is a horses ass? Quote Link to comment
