husker rob
For a true freshman to come in and get his first start against Texass in Austin, I think he did a pretty good job. reguardless of who is coaching next year, i think the O-line is going to be a strong one for the next few years Quote Link to comment
TrueHuskerFan
I hope so, but that's what I was thinking about the line backing corp for this year and they were a huge disappointment. It's all about development. Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
yep he played great other than one false start at a terrible time, but blocking wise he played really really well. Quote Link to comment
HuskerFan505
He played well, along with some help from a tight end, he helped lucky with some big holes saturday. GO BIG RED Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
He certainly is a cornerstone to build the future lines around. Quote Link to comment
husker dick
What do you guys think about him having to burn his redshirt season? Reminds me of Solich bringing in David Horne to try and salvage things. I heard Callahan's comments about what's best for the team and such, but what about what's best for the player. Curious what you guys think. Quote Link to comment

Mostly, I agree with the comments touting Javorio's game, except for this: Unfortunately, the play immediately after that false start is when Burkes let the guy through who took Keller down to the ground and Keller's now out for the season...... It's one of those things where your damned if you do damned if you don't. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
there is a difference in burning the RS for one play, or start the final 4 games. I think that it is going to be ok in his case Quote Link to comment

Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
Burkes got called for two false starts. Other than that I don't ever remember his name being said... so he must've been doing pretty good. Keep it up. Quote Link to comment
