Egg Nog 1 dozen very fresh medium eggs, well beaten 1 1/2 to 2 cups of sugar (adjust when done for sweetness) 1/5th bourbon 1/2 pint rum 1/2 gallon half and half 1/2 gallon egg nog ice cream, melted Freshly grated nutmeg In a very large bowl/pot, add the sugar to the beaten eggs and mix well. Slowly add the liquor and then the milk. Lastly add the melted ice cream and freshly grated nutmeg to taste. Top each serving with more nutmeg. Quote Link to comment
T_O_Bull
For those who don't remember a fifth is a galon divided by 5. Liquor now comes on either 750 mls., or full lieters. 750ies are less than a 5th lieters are more. The recipe sounds good and seems to be about enough for one or two people . Thanks 9-R-Gurl. All the best to you. >>>T_O_B Quote Link to comment
