I would put our walk on class against any team in the nation. This is a great class. Gotta give props to Jamrog, he's straight killing it!!

Really excited for King Frazier, think Blum could be a good TE for us, Lindsay the kicker from Kearney could help in the future, Fyfer has alot of upside but has some work to do, and Jankovich looks the part. Has anybody heard much about Drew Farlee from Norfolk Catholic? He's a kid I thought would be a pretty sought after kicker in the surrounding states and the best kicker in Nebraska. Really thought he would probably walk on. I think he's actually is the best kicker in Nebraska High School football and even better than Lindsay from Kearney. Really those are the guys I have done the most research on. Anyone else know much about how the others could be in the future?

Bo said in his press conference theres one more walkon they didnt release but that he is coming to Nebraska. If Frazier I wonder what the deal is. Anyone know? I was really excited about Frazier.

You can only announce 18 walkons. They sign letters of intent to walk on, so maybe the other 18 got their paperwork in quicker than King. I dunno. He didn't sign anywhere else. Also there is always the grades potential and if this possibly could be a concern maybe Bo didn't announce him until things are shored up. Not saying this is the case, as he had a 2.9 with a 17 ACT.

I'm resurrecting this thread because I thought it was interesting that we ended up with few differences then the list they released on signing day. Taylor Hoffman is not on the team according to the huskers.com roster. Colin Clare(pk), Aaron Gabriel(lb), Lane Hovey(wr), Greg Milliken(cb), and Evan Williams(qb) are on the team. I don't know the stories behind how these players did or didn't make the team just thought I'd point it out in case anyone else was interested.

Evan Williams is the son of Jaime Williams. Jaime Williams is a former husker TE during the 80's who just this year was hired as some sort of Assistant Athletic Director position. His son chose to follow his dad here and walk on. I watched his highlights earlier this year. He's a pretty athelitic kid with good speed and a decent arm, but he is definately undersized and doesn't just wow you in any one area or anything. I think he will provide good depth at least and who knows in 4 or 5 years. His dad is known for being a very hard worker, very intellegent, a great leader and a man with great character. If Evan is anything like his dad I think that he could contribute at some point even if not at qb.
