I'd be curious of what are "insiders" think of this walk-on class. As one who has followed Husker football for 40 years, recruiting for probably the past 10 ... I still have no inkling of how good it is compared to others. However, you read this thread and it seems to be an impressive list with lots of two star and one three star. Any input from those knowledgeable?

Does anyone know what the staffs policy is on rewarding walk ons with scollys? Would the staff sign as many recruits as possible or reserve a couple of schollys for deserving walkons ie maher and long.

Every year they reward at least one with a scholarship. Most years it has been 2 or greater. Not sure there is a number, they just make it a point to reward a couple each year.

Watched the Class B Nebraska State Championship for football.... Graham Nabity is one hell of a LB, always having his name called for being in the play. Good insticts, has a great nose for the ball. Also seems to be able to diagnose the play very well. Good addition, as I'm sure all of these guys are.

Ryker Fyfe is visiting as an official visitor. Would be a big coup is steal him as a walk-on.

Interesting and novel name..............don't think I have ever seen a first and last name with Y as the second letter........................

sorry..............back to the intent of the thread..................
