HuskerEric
I just read on a Sooner board that he wanted money. Quote Link to comment
GMoose
Remember how bad we all wanted this guy last year? Well, good ole Mega Douche (now at USC... hint hint) utilized Oku horribly last year. Guess he didn't care bout anyones eligibility, as he already knew he wanted out. Oku produced only two TD's last year and failed to even break 100 yards on the season, posting only 93. Bad use of the kid's first year. Makes me glad we got a quality RB like Sexy Rexy (and that he didn't end up like Sam McGuffie at Michigan). I admit, I only made that comparison cuz they are both white. But, people have compared their games in the past. How do you think Kiffin Lands all these blue chippers? Promises of immediate playing time, and then cast to the wayside if they're not stars. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Looks like Mr. Oku is going to play football in Lincoln after all - though not in the way Husker fans had hoped: Malzahn Signs Former Tennessee Vol David Oku at Arkansas State by Tre Baker 6/27/2012 at 11:00am Arkansas State football coach Gus Malzahn announced Wednesday the signing of David Oku, a running back who played at Tennessee for two years after highlighting former coach Lane Kiffin's 2009 signing class. Coming out of Carl Albert High in Midwest City, Okla., Oku was rated as the nation's No. 1 all-purpose back in 2009 by Rivals.com. Oku set school records during his freshman year, running 33 kickoff returns and 863 kickoff return yards in a single season. That season, the only one coached by Kiffin, Oku posted games with 100 or more yards returned against Ole Miss and Memphis. Oku's second year with coach Derek Dooley wasn't so bright and in early 2011, he left the team. His time in Knoxville became further complicated after being arrested on domestic assault charges last summer after his girlfriend told officers Oku pushed her to the ground while disputing payment of a utility bill. Malzahn says Oku is already enrolled in classes at ASU. After sitting out last season, Oku should be eligible for play in 2012. Quote Link to comment
Foppa
Not that he had a great supporting cast, but I think NU can live without him. Quote Link to comment

It took me a while to figure out what you're saying. I am not a smart man. Quote Link to comment
