They outplayed Tech in every single aspect of the game but one. Unfortunately at the end of the day, that one stat is the one that matters.

 

Penalties is why we lost. At the end of the first half we should have gotten atleast a field goal there if it wasnt for those two stupid holding calls.

LOL, just trying to say that even though it was a hell of a game we didn't get the W, and when it comes right down to it your W vs L aka your record is all that really matters.

 

It was a hell of a game, and we put a lot of adversity upon ourselves and still somehow managed to hang tight. I'm proud of the guys and the staff, but it's a tough loss to take..

They can take this and build confidence. Bo will help them with that. It's a rough loss, but it's the best the team has looked all season against a quality opponent. It's something to build on, and Bo will show them how to do it.

No way it kills them. We were supposed to be blown out and we f'ing held then to OT. It is good, and I would tell them the same. It hurts, but we're headed up.

and nebraska, god love them, still found a way to jack-it-up. i feel bad for ganz because dammit he lead this team right to the edge of greatness just to have it snatched at the last second.

 

yes, huskers played hard. but if it weren't for all those penalties NEBRASKA WOULD HAVE LEFT LUBBOCK WITH A WIN. it's heartbreaking. yah, i'm proud of the huskers but still this is a tough one to swallow.

 

huskers can get it done, all they have to do is execute.

Yeah, we had that one. Unfortunately, we can't toss it on Ganz' shoulders for the last minute dummass play. Overall it was a win, but we didn't get it done on all sides of the ball. BUT! I like the effort and the change from last weeks game. It shows that we can improve...period.

This should really build their confidence! OK, not as much as a win --- but still, this shows heart and tough and grit. I am, as always, very glad to be a Husker fan. They played with real grit today and they should go away very encouraged.

 

Should bode well for the rest of the season.
