np_husker
Will he play next year or redshirt? What do ya think? Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
I think he will redshirt. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
We're going to have a QB no matter who it is with zero experience basically. Might as well throw him in there and let him compete in practice before they decide to redshirt him or not. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
The more important question, will he actually sign? The Huskers have had the rug pulled out from them twice in the past 3 seasons by high profile QB recruits. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, I'm worried about it too, but I'm hoping he has been watching us play and knows we can use him. Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
IMHO, these last three games are going to decide whether he comes or not. If i were him watching the OU game i would be having second thoughts. I was waiting to wake up sunday morning and hear he bailed. If we get blasted by KU you can bet your ace he bails and i have a feeling if he bails so does that LB we picked up out of Texas. THERE IS NO INSIDE INFO ON THIS, JUST MY GUT FEELING. hastingshusker
Didn't I read something about Green enrolling at semester? If so that definitely helps his chances in the QB battle. Quote Link to comment

Yeah he'll be here after Christmas Break. That gives him quite some time to learn the play book eh?? I would really like Cody Green to start next year. Quote Link to comment

I just want to see at least a 3 year quality starter. Judging by his stats he sounds darn impressive. Anyone seen any highlights of him? Quote Link to comment
huskerpilot
I want him to start. We need a QB that can be with this team over the next few years. Its gonna be a hard break for the other 3 QB's though... Quote Link to comment

holvy83
I feel the second coming of Harrison Beck We are not going to know anything about him until he steps on the field. Witt will more than likely be the starter unless we have a superstar on our hands, which I am sure he won't be as a freshman. Quote Link to comment

In an interview on 1620 the zone, Chris Williams stated that he spoke to a couple other NU recruits and they agreed that it was their time to come and build something special at Nebraska!!! I don't think these last 3 games, win or lose, will have any effect on that. That's a pretty big deal, for 3 kid's from 3 different states to make a statement like that. As far as Cody Green, He will be our starter next year. Quote Link to comment
