Assessing the talent: Logan was an all-state selection as a junior.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 35%. Has visited LSU and is known to want LSU offer but they appear to be slow playing him. To visit NU for the CU game. Potential playmaker on Pelini's defense.

Brian Munson said that Logan and McBurse will most likely be the next two recruits to commit.

McBurse is likely since he is enrolling in a few weeks. He's going to be making his decision soon regardless.

Logan, not so likely. Kid is blowing up with some big offers lately and alot more attention. He will probably drag the process out a little while longer.

Looks like the process has ended, LSU supposedly just offered him. ARGHHHHH.

We had a legit chance with him and recruited him about as hard as possible. We definitely need speed rushers at the D-End positions. Frustrating.

Good for him getting more legit offers but hasn't this kid noticed Bo Pelini is no longer at LSU and his staff is over here at NU! What has happened to LSU? Has a team that won the national championship dropped so much the year following...LSU is not even sniffing the Top 25 right now! LSU (and Georgia) have to be two of the most disappointing teams this year. Bennie, do what's good for you and come to NU where defense is a tradition and not just a few year fad! :woo

Reports are that we are the leader in his final 3 and the surprise is LSU is no longer there. Anyone know what happened with LSU? He must have realized Bo was no longer there!

Could be good for us...the leaders are apparently us, Michigan, and Texas Tech. :bonez

I'm guessing LSU was slow playing (the old "uncommittable" offer) him as they waited for more highly touted out-of-state kids to make up their minds. Probably got mad or maybe LSU actually got on those out-of-state guys. :dunno

I do know that one or both of the Co-DCs are likely gone or demoted after the bowl game (Tennessee's former DC, John Chavis, might be a good replacement) which could lead to more defensive staff turnover.
