As RB?

Huge quarterback Jatashun Beachum to be running back for Razorbacks

Jatashun Beachum, a 6-foot-2, 260-pound quarterback for A. Maceo Smith (Dallas, Texas), has committed to Arkansas as a running back.

ESPN's Billy Tucker said of the news, "Beachum defines the term "jumbo athlete" and is one of the rare prospects in this class. This massive three-star athlete has the ability to play a skill position at the next level or down on the line. It appears the Razorbacks are recruiting the 253-pounder to play running back, at least for now, and he has the physical tools to develop into a downhill load in Fayetteville. "

"The Texas native really carries his weight well and flashes good burst out of his cuts when he squares up between the tackles. He has deceptively good footwork and agility through the hole as well, can make the first defender miss and slice through the cutback. It's his between-the-tackles power and yards after contact that opens your eyes though. If he remains at running back, Beachum good develop into a workhorse and wear down a defense, even in a change-of-pace type power-back role. The size, strength and quickness off the ball are there to develop along the defensive line if the transition to running back is not a smooth one."

I guess someone in the image of Javorski Lane? I just can't see him having a future at RB.
