The Maudfather
says Brian Butler is his trainer/mentor...the same guy running the show for Bryce Brown Well we can kiss this one good bye....looks like he too, will be heading North for football season... "Oh, Canada...." (Thats all I know) Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
Georgia has offered. Quote Link to comment
ICT HSKR 10
Wouldn't worry about Butler being his "handler" in this case. Bell is a great kid, comes from a very good family that has lots of experience in college & pro football. The family will be taking the lead in his recruiting, you won't see the same this as what we've seen from Bryce Brown. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
Clemson, Oklahoma and UCLA have offered. Quote Link to comment
papio2chi
Life long Sooner fan...Let's hope they(OU) get Connor Wood and we are still in this. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
We certainly need one of these big name prospects, and Oklahoma and Texas can't take them all! Quote Link to comment
huskered17
The feeling I get from the way the team responds to Bo, winning helps recruiting and opens a lot more doors. It won't be long before OKL and Texas start worrying about, is Neb offering this kid. Even Texas, doesn't get all the good kids in state. GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
Notre Dame has offered. Quote Link to comment
Danimal
Texas got that Woods kid, which leaves OU working harder for Bell now, this is going to be a fight. Geez, Texas is just on-fire. Quote Link to comment
Ohio Pete
Bishop Carroll's (Wichita, Kan.) Blake Bell is up to 15 offers, with the latest coming from Oklahoma. However, Colorado State has to be the team to beat here. His father, Mark Bell, and his uncle, Mike Bell, played at Colorado State before moving on to lengthy NFL careers. But schools such as Oklahoma, Georgia, Miami, Nebraska and Missouri will be tempting. Notre Dame could offer soon. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
Kansas is the frontrunner. Quote Link to comment
DeathCultArmaggedon
From what I have heard from people in touch with Blake's parents, we are tied with OU for the lead. KU, ND and Georgia round out his current top 5. Apparently, both his parents (and Blake) love NU and everything they said about the program and coaches was positive. Blake will be at our spring game. Location is a factor to Blake. However, that being said, they will be taking several road trips during this off-season to the southern schools that he has offers to. We have a serious chance here.
