hack
word was at one time, *this* was the gabbert boy to watch and that his skills would pay the bills. unfortunately, nebraska has... what... a half-dozen potential quarterbacks? heck, martinez was recruited as an 'athlete' but it sounds like he'll try to get some reps as a quarterback, also. i'm thinking he may go elsewhere. illnino
With all our current QB's over 6'2'' and at or over 210lbs., this one seems kind of small Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
Do you think Drew Brees and Jeff Garcia are too small to play quarterback? Quote Link to comment
Ohio Pete
With all our current QB's over 6'2'' and at or over 210lbs., this one seems kind of small Not sure when that measurement is from. Could grow some more over the course of this year. Has Missouri as High interest on Scout. Quote Link to comment
illnino
Do you think Drew Brees and Jeff Garcia are too small to play quarterback? Just meant that he's a different mold than what's currently on our roster, that's all. Never said he was too small to play. Quote Link to comment
lilred
he's smaller than me Quote Link to comment
BigWillie
Tyler is just a much smaller version of his brother. Same arm strength, same speed. If the kid hits a little growth spurt he will have offers from everyone. Quote Link to comment
Street Novelist
visited Missouri this weekend...says he would have lot of fun being on the same team as his brother and competing with him Quote Link to comment
Back In Black
visited Missouri this weekend...says he would have lot of fun being on the same team as his brother and competing with him but it would be better to beat him when he play agaisnt him Quote Link to comment
HuskerInLostWages
I think it would be interesting to see him go up against his brother here and spank their hind quarters. That would be icing on the cake:) Quote Link to comment

Street Novelist
Colorado State, Indiana and Kansas have offered. Quote Link to comment
Ohio Pete
attending Husker practice the past two days Nice, keep showing him Latravius spraying it all over the field and he'll think he can move up the depth chart immediately. Quote Link to comment

I doubt he looks at a JR LB switched to QB, as his main competition. But I see what you are getting at. Quote Link to comment
