Kind of surprised to see us chasing a little guy like this, especially after just getting a similar guy in Kildow to walk-on. He must be pretty damn quick and elusive.

Do we know how Kidlow's leg is doing? Maybe this is insurance. Or maybe Nebraska is not getting the home run threat with a traditional RB so they are looking at other options. Or maybe he's just REALLY fast:

The Sunshine State is loaded with speed every year, however occasionally a player really jumps out as being "fast-fast". Gibbs athlete Jarvis West is one of those players. At 5'8, his electrifying burst, deep speed, and quick feet should draw comparisons to players like Roscoe Parrish and Brandon James.

Why? we need a quality returner- we have struggled in punt returns and kick returns for years.

 

We had one during the Spring game who was a runner, though can't recall who it was. He was extremely fast and had some moves, should do us good.
