PJ Smith went to the same school, had a big impact in getting Ashburn in. Having both in the fold certainly can't hurt in recruiting McKnight but it looks like an up-hill struggle. I know them all pretty well.” McKnight is being recruited by Alabama’s assistant head coach/running backs coach Burton Burns. “He’s been calling a lot.
