The Maudfather
I believe we may have done a similar thread last offseason. My choice: Anthony Blue. I think Blue bounces back from the knee injury and really makes some noise in the secondary this year! The guy is 5'10", 185, and prior to his knee injury, he ran the 200m in 21.17. Assuming he makes a full recovery, Blue has the height and speed to be a solid corner. Also, I just cant take another year of watching Anthony West give up the long ball, or any ball that is in the air for that matter.. Your thoughts? Quote Link to comment
huzkerbob
I'm hoping Will Compton will emerge. For two reasons. One is because NU seriously needs some LBs to step up this year, and everyone seems to think Compton is the guy to do it. Secondly, I just bought myself a sweet new #51 jersey, and if he is everything he is hyped to be, I can say I was way ahead of the train on this kid! Quote Link to comment
HuskerJen
My vote is for Chris Williams, the LB from Texas. If he's healthy he could start as a true freshman. Quote Link to comment
tmfr15
It all starts with pressure and play making ability at the line of scrimmage. Barry Turner. If this guy can break out, and Suh and Allen are as solid as last year, there is going to be some serious havoc in opposing backfields. Quote Link to comment

Hunter94
both Blue and West have a lot to prove, just to get on the field. Quote Link to comment
NUance
Jared Crick. He is not gonna be the one double teamed in the trenches. Quote Link to comment
UGAHusker
How about the former 5-Star Baker? Will we see him in the mix rotating out? If he can step up, between him and Crick, we'll have fresh monsters switching out the entire game. Quote Link to comment
glm09
Gotta Go with Jared Crick... Steinkuhler's playmaking allowed Suh to be dominate last year. A good Crick will allow Suh to be even more imposing this year. Quote Link to comment
SouthBayHusker
I think multiple players will have good years, another year in the system will benifit all the players. If there needs to be a breakout player it better be Zac Lee at QB - Nebraska will live or die by his decisions and play-making ability. Quote Link to comment
huskers1
I'm going to go with Amukamara. He has the size, speed and athleticism to be a shut down corner. He seemed to come on later in the season and hopefully he can continue to improve with the off season training. Quote Link to comment
shyndy
im going to pick hagg, i think he'll be a starter at one of the safety positions before its said and done this year, maybe at asante's position Quote Link to comment

He's redshirting and he needs to. No way you come back from that injury in highschool and start the next year in college. I agree that he'll be a good one once healthy. Quote Link to comment

I think it will be Pierre Allen or whomever the other safety will be Quote Link to comment
