girlknowsfootball
He was going to come to Nebraska but had some issues transferring in his grades (due to military or overseas or something of that regard) So he moved from Nevada to Kansas SPECIFICALLY so that he can transfer into Nebraska next fall. The kid is a beast. The only way he is not coming here is if our coaching staff abandons him, and I REALLY don't see them doing that with his athleticism and commitment to Nebraska. Nexus
Someone from HI said that Kenny Mack has put 25-30 lbs. of mass on his frame and is up to 285-290 lbs. now. Apparently he'll be finished at Ft. Scott CC in December 2010. Quote Link to comment
Schoeny
So he's a 3/3 guy or 3/2? Quote Link to comment
girlknowsfootball
Well he came out of HS this year. So he should be a 3/3 guy. It looks like he will be done at Fort Scott in December, then head up to NU as an early enrollee much like Yoshi did this year. So that will actually give him 3 1/2 to play 3, if you count the extra spring. Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
There is the possibility that he red shirts at Fort Scott then comes up here as a 4-4 guy. 2 Quote Link to comment

EZ-E
So are we sure he's coming here then? The word is that if he doesnt come here it wont be because we get beat out by another school. If he doesnt come here it will be because we dont want him. 2 Quote Link to comment

girlknowsfootball
If he has gotten up to 290 in muscle and has the option to be a 4/4 player when he comes to lincoln. I don't see why we wouldn't get him this year. I'm just surprised he isn't on the list of commitments yet. Quote Link to comment

Him not being on campus right away has to do with some of his military/overseas HS credits not transferring to UNL; therefore doing a semester at a juco should make him eligable to be in Lincoln for 2nd semester. I believe this to be the case anyways. 3 Quote Link to comment
zoogs
JUCOs can be 4/4 guys? Didn't know that. Quote Link to comment
EZ-E
JUCOs can be 4/4 guys? Didn't know that. The word that I heard was that he was going to red shirt his first semester at Fort Scott and then come to Lincoln for 2nd semester. that is why I said he will have four years left to play. 4 Quote Link to comment
