At least we finally get into the conference slate today.. Sucks NU has to play the 2 of the 3 best in the conference 1-2... Quote Link to comment

I wanted to go though and get the SOS and number of top 50 teams played, but didnt have the time. I just wanted to update the standings pretty much through the non-con. I will do standings updates through out the conference season as well Quote Link to comment

I will do standings updates through out the conference season as well I understand, and thanks for doin that fro. I just feel teams like KSU are over hyped atm because they have played no1, similar to nebraska last year. A&M is still questionable also... When I'm on a computer tonight after work (like 2 am) I can get all of boyds isr numbers to put next to everyone if you'd like. Quote Link to comment

huskerswrkhavoc
i know where your coming from. and that would be great if you could do that. Well I didn't get to them before the games from friday (i hadnt been on a computer forever, just my phone), but now I have the ISR's from boydsworld.com... Boyd's Iterative Strength Ratings Basically what these are are his way of determining the true strength of a team once play begins.. It's similar to the RPI used by the NCAA, but has actually proven to better predict the finish of teams.. 1. Oklahoma - ISR = 13 SOS = 81 2. Oklahoma State - ISR = 31 SOS = 154 3. Kansas State - ISR = 38 SOS = 170 4. Texas A&M - ISR = 6 SOS = 28 5. Texas - ISR = 5 SOS = 13 6. Baylor - ISR = 76 SOS = 102 6. Kansas - ISR = 59 SOS = 49 8. Missouri - ISR = 93 SOS = 146 9. Nebraska - ISR = 52 SOS = 5 10.Texas Tech - ISR = 88 SOS = 26 Quote Link to comment

CBHusker
I wish I could have tracked the Huskers' team ERA during the season. I'm also impressed with the wide divergence of Coaches' expectations and actual product on the field. Quite a few complete misses. Quote Link to comment
