billdozer15
If we score any less than 50 points I will not be satisfied. If our defense gives up more than 10 points I will not be satisfied. My prediction 52-3. Quote Link to comment
cornhuskers4ever
63-3 Nebraska scores 42 in the first half, and uses back ups in the second. WKU finally scores a Field Goal to end the game against the 3rd String defense. + The Blackshirts hold WKU to under 100 total yards. Quote Link to comment
RedDenver
I'm going to say the defense has a "let down" which leads to a week of heated discussions on the board. NU 52 WKU 23 Quote Link to comment
Redmusky
We should win by 7 TDs and run for 400 yards Quote Link to comment
Enhance
I'm guessing it's more like 63-10. We may even pitch a shutout. Quote Link to comment

NU 52 WKU 23 No way a redshirt freshman led Western Kentucky team that went 0-12 last year scores more points on us than three Sun Belt teams combined, even if our starters are out by the end of the third. Hercules
66-14 Hard not to run up the score when your 3rd string QB is also competing for the starter spot. Also, the Blackshirts give up a couple TD's before adjusting to Western Kentucky's new coaching staff. Quote Link to comment
GMoose
48-9 250+ rushing yards Quote Link to comment

And that's the facts, jack!!! This team is going to try to win the defensive scoring title again. Don't be surprised if they have a chance to shut them out, they will not give in. I'm sticking by my prediction. I think we'll have the usual first game miscues and turnovers which will result in some extra points for WKU. And switching among 3 QB's won't help with a new center leading to some exchange problems. Plus, I think our defense will have some issues early this season, but should get on track during the Washington game. Quote Link to comment
mmmtodd
45-7 someone gets burned deep going for a pick. watson focuses on controlling the ball, so 60+ points is a fantasy imho. time of possession will be ridiculously in our favor, like 40-20. Quote Link to comment
Scratchtown
if we don't score 60, i'll be somewhat disappointed. We shouldn't have to punt at all. that said the defense better not give up more than 7. Quote Link to comment
